DSFederal, Inc. seeks a Training Coordinator to provide support and assistance to designated federal and contracted Program Managers in order to administer and coordinate training classes.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide support to designated Program Manager for day-to-day objectives, as well as special projects.
- Coordinate program logistics in person and virtually (including reserving event space, training set up (e.g. easels, audio visual, room layout, etc.), scheduling events, answering participant and customer inquiries, tracking applications, and tracking inventory levels of class materials.
- Maintain information in Learning Management System (LMS) concerning class enrollments, cancellations, reschedule requests and date, time, and classroom location changes.
- Publish new classes using LMS as requested by the Program Manager and initiate corresponding paperwork for invoicing.
- Forward confirmations to enrolled students in a timely manner
- Create weekly classroom enrollment reports using the LMS for distribution to the Program Managers.
- Work closely with technical support staff to help ensure classrooms or virtual platforms have the required technical capabilities for all training events (e.g., laptops, projector, audio visual, specific software, etc.).
- Help ensure classrooms are clean and class materials and any additional requested materials are available for NIHTC trainings.
- As the point of contact for instructors and students, the TC will provide customer service support in fielding inquiries about training, room rentals, retreats or other aspects.
- Coordinate training logistics primarily through the LMS (including reserving training space, obtaining training aids (e.g., easels, audio visual, etc.), scheduling courses, managing student enrollments, registering participants, addressing cancellations, coordinating accommodation, recording course completion credits in online tracking systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and printing class specific materials and assist Federal staff when additional items are needed.
- Track participant survey data.
- Create daily signage as needed for classes in session.
- Act as backup for Training Assistant
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
Educational Requirements:
- High School or Associate’s Degree
- BA/BS preferred.
