Nature and Scope
We are seeking a driven and innovative Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will own managing
and delivering priorities across all business functions for the LMS (Learning Management System) and CMS
(Content Management System). The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of product management
principles with a passion for digital learning and a commitment to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with the company’s vision, market opportunities, and learner needs.
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to bring products to market and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, communicating product goals, priorities, and progress effectively.
Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather learner and instructor feedback and incorporate it into product development.
- Advocate for the needs of learners and ensure products are designed to drive engagement and learning outcomes.
Product Development:
- Facilitate discovery sessions to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the design and development process, ensuring products are delivered on time and within scope.
Analytics and Performance Monitoring:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Analyze product performance and user behavior, using data to make informed decisions and prioritize future developments.
Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop and execute product launch plans.
- Ensure successful rollouts by providing training and resources for internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide line of sight/transparency into new feature enhancements, parity work to migrate brands, infrastructure and tech debt, and production issues work streams.
- Facilitate discovery and requirements gathering for LMS platform integration and rationalization.
- Manage discovery, roadmaps, and engineering work in Jira.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on project status, highlighting key milestones, risks, and progress against the project plan.
- Collaborate across business functions to align product goals with business needs and technical capabilities.
- Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies when necessary, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure a smooth and efficient development process.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Resolve issues and challenges that arise during the development process, working with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on IT product development or software development projects.
- Experience in EdTech and digital learning a plus
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with demonstrated success in leading Agile teams and managing sprints.
- Strong technical knowledge of software development processes, IT infrastructure, and systems integration.
- Excellent product management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Coda) and Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Open to travel a few times per year for in-person meetings.
Salary Description
$100K-$140K
