About the Position


The Sales Planning Analyst will work cross functionally with both internal and external Field Sales partners to enable Sales Planning initiatives/priorities including business plan presentations, AMPS support, new item sales decks etc. Owns sales input process for select business initiatives as needed. 


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

Requirements

1. Analytic Support: - 50% 

  • Gathers data across a wide variety of platforms (IRI, Spins, Shipment data, customer portals) to add to Tableau and/or Pivot Table reports; leads creation, deployment, and accuracy of data reports to provide visibility to business performance 
  • Interprets and presents data by identifying opportunities to drive the business; presents learnings more broadly to key stakeholders 
  • Consistently turning data into insights that lead to business decisions  
  • Assisting Sales Organization with analytics such as forecast accuracy and trade analysis  

2. Strategic Business Planning Support:? 30% 

  • Works cross functionally with both internal and external (field sales) partners to enable Sales Planning initiatives/priorities to include business plan releases, AMPS support, new item sales decks, etc 
  • Owns sales input process for select business initiatives as needed 
  • Interpreting data and creating selling stories 

3. Project Support and Management: - 20% 

  • Ensures all sales support tools are up to date, including decks, product images, specs, pricing, forms, fliers, sell sheets, etc for the field sales and broker teams 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • High proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) as well as analytic tools 
  • Experience with POS data and/or experience in consumer packaged goods and/or a retail environment is a strong plus 
  • Experience in Sales, Finance and/or Marketing is a plus  
  • Strong project management skills with high level of attention to detail 
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within team environment  
  • Demonstrates flexibility to adapt in fast paced environment 
  • Positive attitude

Salary Description
$68,640 - $72,510 DOE
