Job Summary
The Supervisor, Cash Apps and Billing manages a team of three to ensure all payments received are deposited on a timely basis and properly applied. The Supervisor also ensures that invoicing related to Sourcing and Additional Services is done accurately and timely. This position reports to The A/R Manager and will require in office attendance.
Responsibilities
- Team management: Leading and supervising a team of cash application and billing specialists
- Process coordination: Ensuring that daily processes and reports are completed on time
- Payment posting: Ensuring that payments and adjustments are posted on time
- Policy and procedure maintenance: Completing and maintaining policies and procedures
- Reporting: Providing weekly and monthly productivity and departmental reports
- Reconciliation: Providing reconciliation reports to leadership on a weekly and monthly basis
- Staff training: Coordinating staff training and quality assurance
- Discrepancy resolution: Investigating and resolving discrepancies or variances in cash application processes
- Training and supervising: Hiring, training, and overseeing cash application and billing staff
- Ensuring accuracy: Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and reconciling billing accounts
- Resolving issues: Handling billing-related issues and providing resolutions
- Maintaining relationships: Maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Meeting goals: Ensuring the department meets its goals and deadlines
- Communicating: Communicating with other members of the accounting department
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience 5+ years in A/R, Accounting or similar finance related position(s) · Basic understanding of accounting principles · Diplomatic, courteous and professional communication skills, both verbal and written · Advanced Excel skills· Understands the importance of teamwork · Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills· Experience working with a Cloud ERP system· Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Experience Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred· Hospitality Experience· NetSuite Experience
