We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team. This
role will be responsible for overseeing complex technical projects from initiation through
completion, working closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. The ideal
candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management experience, and
excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
? Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, create detailed project plans, allocate
resources, and manage timelines to ensure successful delivery of technical projects.
? Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between technical teams, stakeholders, and
clients, ensuring alignment on project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
? Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address
and resolve any issues to maintain project momentum.
? Technical Guidance: Provide technical insights and support to team members, ensuring projects
adhere to best practices and are technically sound.
? Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, ongoing communication with all stakeholders.
Provide regular project updates, adjust plans as needed, and manage expectations.
? Dashboard Creation and Maintenance: Develop and maintain project management dashboards to
track project timelines, resource allocation, and progress, ensuring real-time visibility for
stakeholders.
? Change Management: Lead change management initiatives associated with projects, facilitating
seamless adoption of new systems or processes. Prepare and support teams through transitions,
ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
? Budget Management: Track project expenses and ensure adherence to allocated budgets.
Prepare cost estimates and assist with financial forecasting for future projects.
? Quality Assurance: Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and are thoroughly tested
before release.
? Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve project management
processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s
degree or PMP certification preferred.
? Proven expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools such
as Monday.com, JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
? 3+ years of experience in technical project management, strong technical background with a
solid understanding of software development processes, IT infrastructure, and related
technologies.
? Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across diverse teams.
? Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and
environments.
? Familiarity with budgeting and resource allocation.
? Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
? Experience working in Higher Education desired
