Summary
The Director of Advertising Sales (CPG) at Kigo will focus on selling advertising deals through partnerships with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands and channel partners. This role requires full ownership of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals and growing accounts. The Director will collaborate closely with our advertising team and publisher partners to drive innovative advertising solutions tailored to CPG clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to identify potential CPG clients and generate leads. Take ownership of the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with CPG brands and channel partners. Understand their needs to tailor advertising solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the advertising team and publisher partners to create compelling advertising packages that meet client needs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior in the CPG sector.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and report on sales activities and outcomes to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in sales within the CPG industry, with a proven track record of success in digital advertising sales.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage complex sales processes independently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the CPG industry dynamics, consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
