SMG seeks an EHS Advisor - Owner's Rep in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The EHS Advisor will develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with various groups within the company to help foster a World Class Safety Culture.
Overview of Job Responsibilities
- Conduct Construction Site Audits
- Execute Construction Site Safety paperwork
- Facilitate Project Safety Orientation
- Lift Plans (Create / Review)
- LOTO, Confined Space Training, Trenching
- Develop an Escalation Procedure for incident reporting (need support on the project side)
- Hot Work Permits – Facilitate and execute
- SPA's / JSA's
- Develop KPI's
- Work with the Site EH&S team
- Conduct daily safety walks
- A degree in Safety or a related field
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work weekends
- Familiarity with ProCore
Physical Demands of the job may include:
- Moving about long distances
- Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
- Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
- Working in extreme weather
- Being exposed to loud noises
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly
