About the Role


The Director of Business Value at CloudBees is critical for executing the company’s customer-centric business value strategy on a global scale. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business value to customers in the software delivery space. They will also be well versed in communicating the business benefits of a DevOps solution at an executive level.


About You

  • Has 8 years of relevant, progressive experience working in a role leading business value engagements in a sales organization, management consulting, or IT consulting
  • Proven track record of advising senior business stakeholders towards successful business outcomes
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated experience in client-facing role or in a role working closely with C-suite executives
  • Ability to deploy field enablement and coach cross-functional team-members
  • Confident in building financial models and analyzing business value streams
  • Outstanding analytical abilities, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic and consultative mindset
  • Understands software delivery and application security
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields (advanced degrees preferred)

What You'll Do

  • Field Value Support (33%)
    • Engage with large strategic account teams and customers on business case creation
    • Act as value creation and capture expert on strategic accounts and opportunities by working closely with account stakeholders on key business drivers from pre-sales to post implementation
    • Develop in-depth ROI/TCO value models to quantify business value that can be achieved inclusive of product, services, and customer success
    • Capture and share business cases and related customer outcomes and metrics that the field can leverage in relevant opportunities
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure customer success
    • Stay informed on industry trends and drive innovation in value offerings
  • Scale Value Support (66%)
    • Drive the creation of value collaboration tooling as a self-service business case approach across the world wide sales team
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure there is a continual process for refining and expanding the business case content and library
    • Deliver and improve reusable business value content, tools and frameworks to drive coherent and efficient customer engagement throughout the customer lifecycle so that every customer facing resource can engage confidently with quantified business value.
    • Create and rollout a cohesive, customer-facing benchmarking system integrating business value and DevOps maturity throughout the customer lifecycle
    • Collaborate with product marketing on messaging & content to ensure consistency with business value content and tooling
    • Support enablement in the creation of any global value selling methodologies
