Description

Position Overview:

  • This position is responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships while identifying new sales opportunities within assigned territories or accounts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, result-driven individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their main point of contact.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Sales Growth:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence. 
  • Generate new leads, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Client Solutions:
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions using the company’s product or service offerings. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., production, customer service) to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales objectives and revenue targets. 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in CRM systems. 
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals that are beneficial for both the customer and the company.
  • Cross Department Collaboration:
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain high client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in hydraulic hose or industry sales proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.


Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Completion of company indoctrination.
  • Successful completion of safety training programs.
  • Understanding of the company’s Quality System and processes.
