General Summary:
Provide Engineering support for the sale of XeteX custom air handling equipment. Support XeteX’s Independent Sales Representatives by providing the engineering designs, quoting, and project management support on all assigned jobs.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
· Clearly communicate with customers on their request and create a plan for a custom HVAC unit that will meet and exceed the project requirements.
· Employ a variety of selection software’s for selecting and sizing different components that will be within the unit to achieve the project prerequisites for optimal unit performance
· Utilize AutoCAD to create technical unit drawings to send to customers
· Analyze mechanical plans and specifications to meet varying industry and regional standards nationwide and internationally.
· Create construction specifications, scope of supply and exceptions report.
· Create a detailed cost estimate and performance approximation to be able to provide quotes on equipment designs
· Review new vendor product offerings and support as needed their implementations into XeteX designs.
· Work with vendors to stay on top of new technologies and their related design requirements for XeteX equipment.
· Provide support as required on design engineering tools.
· Represent the company at conventions, rep events and occasional customer visits.
· Work from home flexibility once fully onboarded
· BS in Engineering, Mechanical preferred or prior HVAC equipment experience
· SolidWorks or other CAD software proficiency required;
· Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects.
· High level of analytical ability required
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
· Ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
· Ability to travel independently. Travel is infrequent and less than 10%
