POSITION SUMMARY
- FW Logistics is an experienced logistic service provider that is big enough to handle supply chain logistics needs while still being small enough to give specialized service. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Project Manager. Reporting to the President of FW Logistics, the Project Manager is responsible for the gathering, compiling, and implementing information for value-added business projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent FW Logistics in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
- Ensure the gathering, compilation, and organization of information for business projects.
- Manage all phases of business project work including the defining scope, planning, implementation, and transition from start-up through steady state.
- Coordination of tasks across functional teams (finance, risk, sales, IT, operations, systems design, maintenance, HR, etc.) to ensure project milestones are met timely and in accordance with the project scope and objectives.
- Develop and document efficient standard operating procedures that meet customer requirements.
- Ensure systems, methods, and recommended equipment for the storage and retrieval of material are ordered, delivered & set up.
- Ensure warehouse layouts & signage are set up according to scope of work design.
- Identify potential service and profit improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate communication with internal teams, all levels of management, and external customer and vendor contacts.
- Ability to travel up to 50%. (both local and overnight).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize computers and other office equipment (i.e., copier, fax, etc.)
- Knowledgeable with the Internet and various software packages including Microsoft Office Suite, and PM software like SmartSheet along with use of shared drives and data research.
- Knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing operating activities is helpful.
- Ability to establish and meet aggressive goals.
- Ability to complete financial modeling.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust on the fly to meet client needs.
- Ability to generate templates for repeatable processes as needed.
- Ability to work in CRM systems, such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical ability and math skills.
- Previous work with pricing and cost analysis is beneficial.
- Time management is critical.
- Demonstrate individual accountability which results in collective success. This means never adopting a “That’s not my job!” attitude. A will to do what needs to be done.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or certification in related field such as business administration, project management or supply chain specialist.
NOTE: 3 plus years of experience years project management or logistics analysis experience may be used to meet educational requirement. - Previous experience with financial reporting combined with multiple areas of expertise in 3PL warehousing covering WMS Systems, Operational Management, Inventory Control, and Process Engineering are desired.
- Experience using CAD would be helpful, but not required.
- Valid State driver’s license
- PMP certification preferred, not required.
- Expertise in customer relationship management, solution development and complex reporting.

Salary Description
$90,000 - $110,000.00
