PCG Consulting group is a dynamic and innovative that partners with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives. We have currently partnered up with Deloitte and are currently looking for a Leadership Development Consultant.


The Leadership Development Consultant will play a key role in building and advancing leadership capabilities within Cook County Health (CCH). This position focuses on designing competency frameworks, creating training modules, and aligning leadership development initiatives with organizational goals. By working collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders, the Consultant will deliver impactful solutions to foster a culture of continuous leadership growth and development.


Key Responsibilities:

Competency Framework Development:

  • Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs) and leadership to identify core leadership competencies.
  • Develop and validate competency frameworks and leadership assessments to address current and future organizational needs.
  • Regularly evaluate and update competency frameworks to ensure relevance and alignment with industry trends.

Training Design and Delivery:

  • Design and implement micro-learning modules and other training programs to enhance leadership skills.
  • Develop engaging instructional content, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job resources, to support leadership growth.
  • Work closely with Learning and Development teams to ensure leadership programs are scalable and accessible across all levels of the organization.

Alignment with Organizational Goals:

  • Ensure leadership development initiatives align with CCH’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR and organizational development teams to integrate competency frameworks into talent management strategies, including succession planning and performance management.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing leadership culture based on organizational priorities and feedback.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Create and administer assessments to measure the impact of leadership training programs on organizational performance.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants to refine programs and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in leadership development to introduce innovative approaches to CCH.



Requirements

 

  • Proven experience in leadership development, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing competency frameworks for leadership roles.
  • Strong instructional design skills, including experience with micro-learning and e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements.
  • Proficiency in tools for instructional design and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Work Environment and Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Director of Organizational Development or Leadership Development.
  • Collaborative work environment requiring engagement with HR teams, department leaders, and external partners.
  • May require occasional travel to deliver workshops or attend training events.
