Description
JOB SUMMARY
Organize and administer arts & crafts, STEM, nature, and other various activities under the direction of Programs Supervisor. Provide a safe and effective art program while directly supervising campers doing the art program. Assist in planning and be responsible for delivering all arts and badgework camp programs.?Understands and responds to protocols and emergency procedures and provides an exceptional camp experience to all.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, organize, create, and delivery of programs in the assigned activity area.
- Establish and follow appropriate health and safety routines for campers and staff.
- Prepare, participate, and lead specific areas of staff training pertaining to camp areas.
- Conduct inventory of supplies and place orders when necessary, ensuring timely arrival of supplies.
- Become familiar with the camp program and offer suggestions in the assigned activity area guidelines.
- Maintain area cleanliness according to the Texas Department of Health and GSTOP guidelines.
- Assist in packing all materials and supplies at the end of summer camping season.
- Create and maintain staff schedules and make sure all staff are following through with their job descriptions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Experience working with children, peers, and having a supervisor.
- Commitment to the mission and purpose of Girl Scouting.
- Must be willing to work with all people without regard to race, religion, ethnic origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule while residing at Camp.
- Verbal fluency, good grammar, and professional appearance.
- You must complete and pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screening.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and function work duties in summer heat.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
SEASONAL CAMP DATES
- Staff Training Week: June 2-6, 2025
- Camp Week1: June 9-13, 2025
- Camp Week 2: June 16-20, 2025
- Camp Week 3: June 23-27, 2025
- Camp Week 4: July 30 – July 1, 2025 (overnight)
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Required valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (will be provided if needed).

$402.50 Weekly
