Scope  

Develops ATE test software/hardware for ICs, majorly for product ramping-up and mass production stages. Improves yield rates and reduces cost of testing while maintaining excellent product quality. 

Responsibilities  

• Develop robust test solutions to achieve yield, test time and product cost goals, especially in product ramping up stage.  
• Speed up the analysis of yield data, and quickly find corresponding ways to engineering symptoms. Work on engineering issues of broad scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors. 
• Ensure that products shipped meet specifications and exceed quality goals. 
• Develop and optimize scripts and tools for pattern generation, data parsing, yield analysis and production support. 
• Support of production facilities for early production and product ramps.

The Test Engineer should have extensive experience in most phases of product test and program development, including ATE program development, yield improvement/data analysis and cost reduction. 

• Bachelor EE and 3+ years of experience as a Product and Test Engineer required
• Must have experience on industry standard Automated Test Equipment – Cohu Unison platform (Diamond 10/Diamond X) experience preferred
• Experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing Test Processes 
• Understanding of ATE Test Programming principles
• Good knowledge of statistical methods and process control 
• Good software development skills, primarily on data parsing 
• Proficiency with data analysis tools
• Written and verbal English communication and presentation skills
