From your PASSION to ours
The Project Coordinator Intern will have the opportunity to coordinate various functions within the Quality Assurance Department. This department is responsible for the technical data for the many various dairy products manufactured for the entire USA and as well as countries around the world. The Project Coordinator Intern will support a team of QA professionals with projects and daily administrative tasks in the QA department. The internship is a full-time position for one year, and is based out of Nampa, ID.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
· Help Quality engineers to manage Food Safety related projects in Nampa manufacturing site, including, but not limited to:
o Foreign objects management
o Rework program
o MNC program
o Validation of CIP procedures
o Metal Detectors management
o New Environmental plan implementation
· Act as the collection point of information from multiple departments to coordinate activities necessary to reshape the Food Safety policies that are used in production.
· Prepare progress reports on projects mentioned above.
· Propose sustainable actions and improvements to the current system

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
· In order to fill this position, the candidate should be a either a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a Bachelors. Preferred study in Food Science.
· Previous work experience with information databases is a plus.
· Strong communication skills, and Project Coordination skills, with experience in Excel is necessary for this role.
Skills/Abilities
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have very strong computer skills, and be comfortable using Excel, Access and Word at a proficient level.
· Must be very comfortable working with data management software systems
· Self-starter, able to track and manage own workload.
· Strong communication skills, and Project Coordination skills
· Have a basic understanding of quality management systems used in the food industry
