In this role, you'll support DCI's operations staff by providing critical technical support in Linux and Oracle environments. You'll manage nightly support rotations, research and resolve processing issues, and support various internal teams, ensuring seamless bank operations.
What You’ll Do:
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux Bash/KSH scripts and executable code distribution processes.
- Design, test, and refine workflows for customer file processing.
- Research and analyze operational issues, providing actionable solutions.
- Provide backup support for internal teams like Customer Support, Implementations, and Education.
- Develop SQLs for iCore database maintenance and create Linux scripts for bank environments.
- Coordinate EOY and Disaster Recovery testing processes.
- Ensure efficient source control and distribution for production control staff.
- Collaborate with development teams to review and create distribution packages aligned with DCI standards.
- Regularly review and enhance existing program logic, making recommendations to optimize resource utilization and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of advancements in development platforms, operational procedures, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement.
What Will Help You Stand Out:
- Prior programming experience in a financial institution or financial data processing services.
- Sound analytical problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
- Strong time management, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
