Position Summary: The Systems Administrator provides technical assistance, installation, and maintenance of PCs, printers, and other equipment across Westmark Credit Union branches. This role ensures efficient operation and timely resolution of IT issues through the ticketing system and on-site branch support. Additionally, the position involves supporting system servers, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining network resources as assigned. Travel to branches is required, along with participation in an on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities
Technical Support and Maintenance:
- Perform computer updates, maintenance, and installations in accordance with Westmark policies.
- Set up new PCs, printers, and other equipment for branch operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and application issues via the IT Ticketing System.
User Administration:
- Assist with user and email administration tasks as assigned.
- Provide first-level technical support to credit union staff to address daily IT needs.
Software and Network Support:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications used by staff.
- Assist with managing file system structures, group policies, and shared resources on the Westmark network.
- Monitor and respond to server and branch communication outages.
Server and System Assistance:
- Perform assignments related to system servers, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend updates or modifications to meet user requirements.
Additional Duties:
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support.
- Stay current with IT best practices and emerging technologies to enhance skills and improve efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP / Information Technology Manager.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a combination of formal education, training, and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT-related field, with expertise in Microsoft Windows environments and software.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in PC networks, Microsoft Windows OS, PC software, and hardware maintenance.
- Familiarity with Ethernet cabling, ISP technologies, and data communication devices.
- Knowledge of WAN, LAN, and Active Directory systems in a corporate environment.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work weekends or after hours as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work independently in locations with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:
- Manual Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for tasks such as typing and operating office equipment.

- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs., if required for departmental tasks.
