We are adding Installation Technicians to deliver exceptional customer support and perform on-site installation and service of computers and X-Ray equipment for dental and dental specialty offices. Working in a fast-paced environment means wearing many hats. As an Install Tech, you will:
Be a Technician:
· Install panoramic X-ray and cone beam equipment and related computers.
· Calibrate the equipment to ensure high-quality images and optimum performance.
· Supervise temporary installation crew(s) by assigning tasks and monitoring.
· Conduct performance tests on purchased equipment to ensure proper quality and condition.
· Maintain tools and test equipment properly.
· Have a “handyman acumen” – it is necessary to have a mechanical understanding of construction methods to facilitate the installation of capital equipment, electrical connections, and low-voltage connections, and be at ease with using power and hand tools.
Be Tech-Savvy:
· Deliver on-site or remote technical support for computers and dental imaging equipment.
· Create and maintain necessary technical documentation and procedures.
· Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining installation reports and internal service records in a timely manner.
· Install, troubleshoot, and configure digital systems controlled by 1-2 computer systems connected via ethernet and wireless methods.
Be a resource to our customers:
· Present to small groups of doctors and dental staff on basic equipment hardware operations and software training
· Maintain regular communications with customers and team members to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
· Meet health and human services, environmental health and safety and/or other applicable regulatory requirements.
· Utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service issues and conducts effective root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving.
· Work as a member of the team to provide efficient and cost-effective service delivery to all assigned customers.
· Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Installation Technician must be a problem solver, a critical thinker, highly adaptable, and extremely organized. Working in a diverse environment requires you to have strong business acumen as well as the ability to solve complex problems and a strong mechanical aptitude. You don’t need to be an expert networking technician, but if surfing the internet and sending email is the extent of your computer skills - and willingness to dig deeper - this job isn’t for you.
You should also bring the following:
· Graduate of electronics/technology program and MSCE or equivalent IT Certification
· Previous military experience is welcome!
· Computer networking knowledge and experience
· Open to traveling 3-4 nights per week. Flying and driving with tools and equipment for install process will be required.
· Able to lift over 100 pounds
· Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport if travel outside of the US is necessary
