POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Financial Specialist assists the Development/Finance Teams in providing financial and market analysis relevant to the acquisition, development, financing, and management of affordable housing properties across the US. In your role as Analyst, however, there are anticipated to be other duties that will require your involvement related to the operation and management of the Company’s investments and potential investments.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Lead the execution and management of the capital call process from construction completion and stabilization testing, ensuring timely and accurate fund drawdowns.
  • Assist with compliance and financial reporting requests from all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage project insurance requirements with 3rd party consultant 
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Track and monitor project performance compared to approved investment commitments 
  • Assist in reconciling financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Support compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage documentation for real estate or financial closings, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Provide project closing support, including the collection of final signatures and filing of completed documents.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in real estate development, underwriting, or financial analysis preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Description
$55,000 t0 $65,000 annually
