Georgia Western is seeking a talented Pipeline Field Service Technician to join the team in Kennesaw, GA. 

Responsibilities include:

• Operates, services, washes and ensures proper maintenance and security for Company vehicle and other property for which responsible
• Provide support for field technicians as needed (pigging, line maker maintenance )
• Perform preventive pipeline and compressor station maintenance other tasks assigned to your work location
• Interface with technical services, government agencies, emergency planning committees, emergency responders, landowners, contractors
• Operation and maintenance of various types of equipment including sandblaster, skid steers, bolt tensioning, grinders, pumps
• Perform pipeline isolations and gas handling duties (including installation and operation of air movers/expellers blow down silencer)
• Perform batch changing, meter proving, and calibrations
  

This position may be exposed to a variety of conditions including weather extremes, confined spaces, and loud noises.

• Valid Driver's License
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level and lift up to 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 75 lbs., apply up to 100 foot lbs
• Effective written and verbal communication interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment that includes
• Must be a self-starter and capable of working in solitary work environments within work groups
• Depending on work situations, travel will be required
