Job Summary: The Product Owner is responsible for defining and managing the product vision, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, refining user stories, and ensuring seamless integration of solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a passion for product development, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. The Product Owner will also oversee the creation of high-quality requirement documents, work with UX/UI teams to deliver user-centric designs, and continuously monitor and improve product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog to deliver key features and capabilities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and establish acceptance criteria.
Produce high quality requirement documents with wireframes and prototypes and communicate with the business stakeholders, developers and testers.
Oversee seamless integration of front-end, backend, and data solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive designs and customer-centric solutions.
Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment across teams.
Monitor KPIs, user feedback, and product performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Work closely with experienced developers, software architects, and project managers to create high-quality solutions.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in software development
- 3-5 years of experience in product owner and business analyst roles.
- Experience in developing and leading the execution of product development.
- Experience in background screening industry and HR related field.
Qualifications/Skills: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities for this position.
- Strong knowledge of every stage of the product development process from concept to post-launch.
- Demonstrated experience understanding user needs and market trends that are successfully translated into practical plans.
- Proven ability to craft workflow and user experience requirements that meet strategic business goals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, including ability to develop schedules and oversee work-in-progress for budgeting compliance.

Physical Requirements:
- Must have a dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home conducive to focused work.
- Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally, for tasks such as setting up a workstation or equipment.
- The ability to work comfortably and effectively in a home environment that meets ergonomic standards, including proper seating and desk setup.
