The Marketing and Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating fundraising initiatives, coordinating and disseminating of agency announcements, assisting with planning special events as well as creating content for the agency through storytelling, graphics, photos and other options that follow our marketing guidelines as well as handling some administrative tasks.
Independent Living, Inc. is a consumer-directed, cross-disability advocacy and service organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living in the Hudson Valley region and we seek to hire a Marketing and Development Coordinator that would support the Director of Marketing and Development in the implementation of campaigns and other marketing efforts. High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Director of Marketing and Development and agency with all marketing and fundraising efforts.
- Assists in the coordination of fundraising initiatives, which includes soliciting individual donations, corporate philanthropy, and sponsorships, fundraising events, and annual giving campaigns.
- Assists in the development, editing, and dissemination of quarterly newsletters, brochures, and other marketing and development-related materials.
- Contributes to the planning and execution of community events, taking responsibility for coordinating outreach materials and supporting program managers in preparation for outreach events. Attendance at evening and weekend events may be required.
- Attend community meetings and events, as an Ambassador of Independent Living, Inc.
- Acts as liaison between the marketing department and staff to identify, capture, create, and coordinate content that effectively promotes the agency’s mission and impact.
- Maintains and monitors agency websites and social media accounts, adhering to agency branding and best practices guidelines.
- Develops engaging content for the website, social media accounts, email marketing, events, and other marketing endeavors. Content may include photos, graphics, videos, audio, advertisements, etc.
- Administrative tasks as needed.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
PAY RATE: $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr
