How You’ll Make an Impact
Aptima is excited to bring on an intern to support the Information Systems team by assisting with ticket resolution, asset management, and tech refresh initiatives.
You Can Expect To
- Provide first-level support by assisting with IT ticket resolution, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Participate in tech refresh projects by imaging, configuring, and deploying new devices
- Assist in maintaining accurate records in asset management systems, including inventory updates and tracking
- Collaborate with team members to ensure IT equipment is prepared and functional for end-users
- Support basic networking tasks, such as setting up workstations and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Contribute to process improvements by documenting procedures and sharing insights for streamlining operations
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes in a fast-paced IT environment
