As a Recruiter at Aspire, you’ll play a key role in the recruitment process, ensuring smooth onboarding experiences and providing essential support to new hires. Working directly with the Vice President of People, you will be at the forefront of managing the pre-employment process, from background checks to fingerprinting. This dynamic role also serves as a primary resource for Aspire team members, guiding them through the learning management system, HR inquiries, and new hire status updates. Position Summary:

The Part -Time Recruiter (20-30 hr/wk) is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent and working closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs to develop effective recruiting strategies. The position will identify and engage top candidates who fit the company culture and meet the qualifications for various positions. This position also attends job fairs, connects with local colleges for talent and generates regular reports to assess sourcing strategy success and other key recruitment performance metrics. This is a hybrid role.


Position Responsibilities:

The following represents the primary position responsibilities, but other related duties may be assigned to meet the organization's needs.


Recruitment Support

• Source talent through job boards (Indeed, Job Target, Handshake, LinkedIn).

• Screen candidates for DSP positions through various methods.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

• Develop recruiting relationships with local colleges to advertise job openings and

engage students through presentations.

• Accurately track recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system.

• Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in

recruitment.

• Ensure recruitment activities comply with Federal, State, and local laws, DOL regulations and organizational policies and procedures that govern the employment process.


Job Fairs

• Attend job fairs and recruitment events to attract top talent and build brand awareness.

• In partnership with the HR Specialist – Team Member Support, coordinate logistics,

including booth setup, materials, and staffing for job fair events.


Reporting

• Identify  and track recruitment metrics that have the greatest impact on sourcing, selecting, and

retaining talent.

• Generate recruitment data through regular reporting that is included in the quarterly

People Team Dashboard and used to improve outcomes.

Requirements

 Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent work experience.


Additional Licensing/Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record


Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively execute the responsibilities of the position.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and select talent
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system and other recruiting tools
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

  • Demonstrates resiliency and a positive attitude when challenges are encountered.
  • Must maintain confidential information
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office


Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a recruiting role, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Demonstrated use of recruiting tools such as social media, job boards, advertising and external sourcing.
