We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our integrated team of professionals to develop comprehensive plans and specifications for a variety of existing project types. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience across all phases of design while developing management skills to effectively collaborate with teams of all sizes. You may also have the opportunity to mentor and assist junior interior designers as needed. This position can be located at one of Strang's regional offices in Wisconsin with hybrid work schedule arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position oversees a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Provides project team leadership through the development of interior design concepts for projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.
- Participates in the design control of projects in the design development, construction document, and construction administration phases.
- Provides direction and mentorship to junior interior designers and architectural emerging professionals
- Drives the development of construction documents in adherence to the local building and accessibility codes.
- Supports the construction administration team during construction with shop drawing review, site visits, and the development of punch lists.

Qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field
- 8 or more years of related experience. Prior architectural office experience preferred.
- Familiarity with space planning, finish selection, and furniture specification.
- Professional certifications such as NCIDQ preferred, but not required.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Revit knowledge required; have at least five years Revit experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting and maintain a keen eye for design and details.
