About the Role
We are searching for an articulate, enthusiastic Sales Development Representative who is excited to help bring our industry-leading procure-to-pay solution to our target markets. The SDR will collaborate closely with marketing and sales to generate new leads, which will eventually turn into new customers. The SDR's job will be to create new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with target prospects so they can understand how our solutions can solve their business problems. The first task is to find, qualify, and collaborate with the outside sales team to close great prospects.
This person must possess entrepreneurial skills, be a creative problem solver, and be able to experiment, test, learn, and iterate. A successful SDR will lean on industry knowledge, understanding the challenges our customers face and our product value statement to reach the right individuals to discuss future business opportunities. You are confident, have a hunger to succeed, are coachable, personable, and possess a growth mindset.
While this is a remote position, we are targeting individuals living in the Tampa Bay, FL area.
What You’ll Do
- Connect with prospects by email, phone, video, social, and various multi-channel touch points.
- Leverage existing marketing resources and customized messaging to engage prospects across a variety of mediums
- Research, educate, and qualify healthcare organizations to see how Procurement Partners procure-to-pay solutions could help them succeed.
- Quickly acquire an understanding of the markets we serve, the challenges they face, how our products provide a solution and how to accurately convey that value to our prospective clients.
- Organize and maintain records in Salesforce and other prospecting technologies as needed
- This job is all about hitting the numbers and achieving your targets - This is a metrics-based role – we have clear, attainable goals and the tools to reach them consistently
- Connect with teammates to share best practices, roads to success, overcome challenges and ideas on best practices to reach our goals
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field (preferred)
- 1+ years of business-to-business (B2B) Sales or Business Development experience
- Experience with a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
- Eagerness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess great listening skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry (Preferred)
- Excited about being part of a rapidly growing company with the growth opportunities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to undergo and pass a background check
