CD Valet® is a new fintech and online marketplace that connects consumers to financial institutions to compare and open Certificates of Deposit (CDs) with the most competitive rates and terms nationwide. With daily rate updates and earnings calculators, CD Valet gives consumers an array of free tools to help them find the right CD to meet their savings goals. Banks and credit unions can attract more deposits through CD Valet’s advertising, analytics and account opening solutions that enable them to design, price and promote CDs to a targeted market of ready-to-buy savers across the nation. CD Valet is operated by Seattle Bank, and CD Valet and Seattle Bank are wholly owned subsidiaries of Seattle Bancshares, Inc. 


Position Summary

The FI Partner Development Officer will empower community and regional banks and credit unions to address one of banking's most pressing challenges: generating new customers and growing deposits. Leveraging direct outreach, participation in industry events, and collaboration with our marketing team, this position is responsible for selling CD Valet services to qualified financial institutions (FIs). CD Valet’s services include customer lead generation, advertising, account-opening tools, pricing optimization tools, and ongoing support through our FI Success Team. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and collaborating closely with the Marketing and FI Success teams, the FI Partner Development Officer will be accountable to driving revenue growth.  


Essential Duties

  • Generate Sales: Consistently close sales with new customers, achieving or exceeding targets. 
  • Direct Outreach: Proactively identify and engage potential clients via strategic and consistent outreach efforts, including targeted calling, emailing, and social media, all organized within a comprehensive sales plan.  
  • Conferences & Events: Represent CD Valet at industry events, serving as a contributor, exhibitor, and networker. Help organize and lead prospect events as needed.
  • Communicate Value Proposition: Clearly articulate how CD Valet helps FIs generate new customers and raise deposits effectively. 
  • Demos: Deliver compelling online and in-person demonstrations tailored to the needs of each FI, responding to questions confidently and knowledgeably. 
  • Documentation: Provide pricing details, due diligence materials, and agreements to streamline the sales process while safeguarding CD Valet’s interests. 
  • Deal Progression: Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence to convert leads into closed deals. Provide internal tracking and status updates to enable effective management decision-making. 
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including outreach, meetings, and closed deals. Record valuable insights and feedback from prospects using CRM tools to manage leads and opportunities. 
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and update the sales pipeline, dashboards, and reports to evaluate progress and set priorities. 
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and other teams to share best practices, insights, and innovative ideas. Participate in regular team meetings to strategize and provide updates. 
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field providing strong financial acumen. 
  • 5+ years in B2B sales, financial services, SaaS, or similar industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals with high-value clients. Experience calling on C-Suite executives of financial institutions preferred.

Detail Orientation: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency. 

Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ShareFile, and e-signature platforms. 

Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and teammates. 

Adaptability: A willingness to travel for events, conferences, and individual meetings at the national and regional levels.

Salary Description
$80,000 - $120,000 per year
