The Opportunity 

We are looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our engineering teams, Product Management, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving the development of technical products from conception through launch, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Your technical expertise and product management skills will be critical in translating complex product requirements into clear, actionable tasks that deliver high-quality products to market. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional product and engineering team whose mission is to design and build our next generation of research, news, data, and analytics platform.  


Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. 
  • Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation for features related to data products, APIs, and web platforms. 
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure alignment between requirements and delivered solutions. 
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable features. 
  • Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning meetings. 
  • Use data analysis tools to derive insights and promote data driven decisions. 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the design of efficient workflows. 
  • Support quality assurance efforts by validating that delivered features meet requirements and user needs. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software development. 
Requirements

 Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, business management, or applied mathematics. 
  • 2+ years of experience in a business analyst role at a software focused company.  
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with technologies for web, mobile, databases, APIs. 
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, Power BI, Segment, Amplitude, or similar. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.  
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Preferred but not required, knowledge of real estate industry.

The current offer: 

  • Hybrid working model - 3 days per week in our office at Polygraphia Office Center, Sofia, Bulgaria, 2 days per week - home office. 
  • Working hours – 11 am – 8 pm EET (3 days/week for the first 6-12 months) – you need to work with our West Coast US tech team. 9 am - 6 pm (2 days/week) 
  • Social benefits – now we have only additional health insurance – we’re new to Bulgaria, so give us time to create the best package for you. 
  • Salary & bonuses – according to the standard for 2024 in Bulgaria.
