Our Mission:

Our mission is to create access to high quality integrated health care and promote well-being for individuals, families, and our communities. As a Federally Qualified Health Center with a focus on integrated, primary care, we believe that every human has the right to access whole health. We have locations in Amherst, Huntington, and Worthington, as well as a school-based health center at Gateway Regional Middle/High School and a Community Center in Huntington. The CFO is also responsible for shepherding, as a member of the Senior Management team, organizational strategic planning and site expansion implementation.


A day in the life of this role:

The Chief Financial Officer's main responsibility is to oversee the financial operation of the organization. This includes supervision of the Finance and Billing departments, preparation and monitoring of the organization’s annual operating budget, cash management, and representing the fiscal interests of the organization in external business relationships. As a Senior Management team member, the CFO is also responsible for shepherding, organizational strategic planning, site expansion implementation, and liaising between senior leadership and staff.

Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Master's degree in accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field 
  • Experience managing finances in healthcare 
  • Agile approach to shifting funding and operational challenges 
  • A proven track record of addressing financial challenges creatively and strategically 
  • Experience managing a team 
  • Experience managing finances for a non-profit preferred; FQHC experience strongly preferred 
  • Five years of experience in finance preferred
