Job Summary:

Fouts Bros Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. This role involves a combination of mechanical and electrical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of machinery.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments.

• Install and align new machinery and equipment according to specifications.

• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify potential problems or safety hazards.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical components.

• Ensure all electrical systems and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations.

• Conduct electrical testing and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with electricians and other team members to address complex electrical problems.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Maintenance Technician

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to address maintenance needs and ensure efficient operations.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a maintenance or similar role.

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components.

• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and machining techniques.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.


Location:

This position is based in Milledgeville, Georgia. This is an in-person position, not remote.
