WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The VP of Client Solutions will lead and manage the operation and performance of all ZBeta teams engaged in system design, project management, and managed services for our entire client portfolio, which ranges from families to Fortune 10 companies and represents a variety of business verticals including e-commerce, consumer electronics, cloud computing, finance, bio-pharma, aerospace, higher education, and event and conference facilities, amongst others.
As VP of Client Solutions, you will hold responsibility for this program’s strategic, managerial, operational, and business functions, and will lead and champion the innovation and optimization of the services, tools, and the solutions it provides to our clients.
The VP of Client Solutions will have extensive experience with and is passionate about forming and driving successful client relationships and program growth. This position provides high-energy leadership in managing and measuring the performance of its organization and ensures that it embodies ZBeta’s core values and principles. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Team Management
- Oversee all aspects of ZBeta’s program, account, and project management services and work product. Ensure that ZBeta programs for Project Management and Managed Services are aligned with ZBeta business strategy and philosophy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Management and Managed Services functional areas in the organization, ensuring work quality goals and performance objectives are met.
- Schedule and maintain regular meetings with internal staff to solicit and provide feedback regarding work performance, business objectives, professional development, compliance with company processes, and client feedback.
- Monitor staffing capacity and make recommendations for staffing increase or decrease. Maintain projections of future staffing needs, coordinated with company budgetary and business development goals. Ensure appropriate processing and approval of all staff requests for time off, travel, and expenses.
Program Development
- Lead the onboarding and development of new client programs, engaging in strategic dialogue with clients to define the needs and goals of engagement.
- Create roadmap/milestone plans and objectives for client projects/programs and lead optimization initiatives.
- Lead the development of new project management tools, processes, and standards to achieve specific improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of ZBeta services delivery. Conduct regular program development meetings with staff to review and manage the status of new tools and process development and optimization.
- Meet with the COO regularly to set program objectives and goals and to review and track program progress against the agreed-on development and performance factors.
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ZBeta clients needing to escalate issues and concerns related to project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Meet periodically and regularly with client sponsors and contacts to review ZBeta performance and to receive feedback relative to ZBeta client services.
Program Management
- Develop, maintain, and manage ZBeta programs for all client status and progress reporting. Ensure that project and program status reporting is regular, consistent, accessible, clear, and meaningful. Set objectives and expectations for Client Partner client communications, including regular business review meetings and reports.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project performance management program and tools. Measure actual performance (hours and costs) vs projections and historical performance. Identify opportunities for performance efficiencies by resource, client, and project.
- Meet with COO and ZBeta leadership team regularly to present data, analysis, and conclusions for work performance, team utilization, work quality trends, and account health. Identify issues and risks and make recommendations for adjustments in strategy and process.
- Exercise gatekeeper approval authority for all proposals within defined thresholds, prior to their issuance.
Project Delivery
- Conduct regular program/account review meetings with appropriate Client Partner, Project Management, and Consulting staff to review status, deadlines, and resolution of project deliverables, tasks, and issues. Ensure timely and complete delivery of all scope obligations.
- Implement, maintain, and manage ZBeta tools and processes for project management functions. Ensure that ZBeta PM standards and toolsets are utilized or appropriately adapted to client needs. Ensure the timely capture and update of all project data and metrics.
- Support staff in the resolution of project, program, and issues impeding the progress or completion of ZBeta scope obligations. Support staff in the development of project requirements, technical solutions, budgetary cost estimates, and system design drawings and specifications.
- Implement, maintain, and manage tools and processes for quality assurance for all ZBeta project services and deliverables. Create measures for incentive and accountability to achieve objectives for work quality and delivery timeliness.
Training & Development
- Partner with Talent & Culture to develop, manage, and supervise programs, processes, and tools for new hire onboarding, employee training, professional development, performance management, and incentives for project management and managed services teams.
- Partner with Talent & Culture with to compose and maintain job descriptions, establish salary ranges, recruit, screen and hire candidates and oversee team process for 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, promotions, and raises.
Business Development & Acquisition
- Support new business acquisition activities and work with the ZBeta CEO and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to identify business opportunities with existing client engagements, identify new client leads and opportunities, and participate in the development and delivery of sales presentations.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Experience:
- 10+ years of physical security industry experience
- Five years in a senior management position
- Extensive experience in building architecture, engineering, and construction environments
- Extensive experience with the design and installation of low-voltage physical security systems
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge:
- Expertise in low voltage and physical security technology and design concepts
- Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of management practices, principles, procedures and best practices
Skills:
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote and Visio
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Studio is a plus
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as MS Project, SharePoint and QuickBase
Abilities
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to communicate and present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form
- Demonstrated management of projects completed on-time, in budget and within scope
- Exceptional collaboration and people skills with the ability to help others understand financial parameters and business practices
- Demonstrated experience leading a cross-functional team, acting as a role model while guiding, developing, and mentoring others
