Safety System Support Specialist
Description

Purpose and Scope: 

  The Safety Systems Support Specialist will assist in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by supporting safety programs, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to safety policies and regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders 


Responsibilities:

  

· Utilize AI tools and software to analyze safety data, predict potential hazards, and optimize safety protocols.

· Leverage AI-powered platforms for incident reporting, root cause analysis, and risk assessment.

· Stay informed about advancements in AI applications for workplace safety and integrate relevant technologies.

· Assist in the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and policies.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, inspections, and training documentation.

· Compile and prepare safety reports and statistics for management review.

· Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

· Support safety training initiatives by scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and coordinating logistics.

· Respond promptly to safety concerns or incidents, documenting investigations and corrective actions taken.

· Communicate safety policies, procedures, and regulations to employees and contractors.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Stay informed about safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.

· Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software systems.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
