General Job Summary
The Investor Accountant is responsible for reconciliation of corporate accounts, create GL entries and perform bank transfers, complete, and approve bank wires, and assist with FHLMC, FNMA, GNMA bank reconciliations along with primary backup duties for the Corporate Accounting Associate.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Reconcile Corporate bank accounts (daily).
- Process daily functions (wires, general ledger entries, etc.).
- Process daily payoff remittances.
- Generate FHLMC/FNMA sale report & transfer loans.
- Oversight of escheatment funds and dormant check status and letters.
- Reconcile daily custodial accounts.
- Process investor billing charges.
- Assist in the reporting and reconciliation of FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA.
- Investor setup and removal.
Other Job Functions
- Serve as point of contact for University Bank (chargebacks, wires, ACH, etc.).
- Act as backup for the Corporate Accounting Associate as needed.
- Provide audit information to investors and auditors.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Training and Work Experience
- Associate degree in accounting or related field required, bachelor’s degree desired.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in corporate accounting highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in Bank Reconciliation specializing in GSE Investor accounts required.
- ICE/Black Knight MSP experience required.
- Previous banking experience desired.
- Previous mortgage experience required.

Working Environment
Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at management’s sole discretion. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity to coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk).
- May be exposed to extended periods of interaction with others (listening, talking, taking notes).
- Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard).

The salary range for this role takes into consideration a wide range of factors including but not limited to the duties of the role, experience, location, and certificates and/or education. The target salary range for this position is between $55,000-$80,000 per year.
