Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy SaaS Solution Architect to join our team and help drive the success of our B2B SaaS platform. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with engineering teams to design, optimize, and maintain our systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring our platform's scalability, security, and performance, with a focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.


The ideal candidate has direct platform architecture leadership experience, guiding and driving direction for service-oriented architectures designed to scale and evolve. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, please apply!


You’ll spend your days on the following:

  • Work with senior engineers to design new systems, review architecture proposals, and identify areas in need of refactoring, migration, or improvement.
  • Manage workstream of 3-4 developers (both FTE and contract workers).
  • Review product requirements, develop implementation tickets, and scope out upcoming sprints of work.
  • Plan and execute technical projects.
  • Expand product capabilities to allow scalability by evaluating, selecting, and implementing third-party tools that will be integrated into our platform.
  • Keep owned areas up to date with security and dependency updates.
  • Review ongoing code development and ensure it complies with company standards.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams.
  • Review pull requests.
  • Work on architecture and system design proposals.
  • Review team technical proposals.
  • Scope out work for upcoming projects.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development or solution architecture roles.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and C# (or other strong object-oriented language experience).
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, Apollo, React, and cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Strong understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and security best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.

Salary Description
$130-$150 per Hour
