Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy SaaS Data Architect to join our team and help drive the success of our B2B SaaS platform. As a Data Architect, you will work closely with engineering teams to design, optimize, and maintain our database systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our data storage solutions meet the needs of our applications and business requirements, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

You'll spend your days on the following:  

• Develop new schemas and table designs based on architecture/system planning.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data structures for performance and scalability during and after the migration process.
• Identify areas of performance optimization through table design improvements, indexing, and query patterns.

• Monitor ongoing database performance and implement necessary enhancements.
• Facilitate ongoing development with new database technologies in development teams - educate, monitor, and assist as needed.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with ORM libraries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging database technologies.
