POSITION PURPOSE:

Facilitates high laundry standards for the Resort by providing guidance and direction to the laundry staff. Provides superior laundry and alteration services for the Resorts guest and employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists in the scheduling and delegating the workflow of the department.
• Determines the sequence of work through sorting, weighing, washing, drying, folding and ironing process, taking into consideration volume of laundry and capacities of the equipment.
• Requisitions supplies for the departmental operation.
• Monitors machines and equipment to detect and report any malfunctions and schedules maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Inspects laundry articles to ensure high standards are maintained at all times.
• Resolves or refers to management all customer complaints, concerns or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.
• Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
• Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.

• Must have strong clerical experience.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities and tasks

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

 High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a laundry or housekeeping entity.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License
• Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times
