LOCATION:             Onsite (at least 4 days per week)

SALARY:                  $18.27/hr - $23.78/hr

SUMMARY


The goal of the Feeding Tampa Bay Experience department is to connect people with information and experiences that help them thrive, grow, and engage. 


The Social Media Coordinator will focus on sharing our mission and highlighting our daily happenings across our social media channels and texting platform.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage, and maintain Feeding Tampa Bay’s editorial calendar and social media presence, including the FTBFYI platform.
  • Serve as the organization’s photographer, capturing day-to-day activities and programmatic content at Feeding Tampa Bay locations or partner sites across the 10-county region.
  • Design social media graphics using existing templates as needed
  • Plan, manage, and execute paid social campaigns as needed
  • Actively engage with individuals and families served by Feeding Tampa Bay to build relationships and gather impactful stories for bi-monthly sharing across organizational mediums.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, questions, and requests on Feeding Tampa Bay’s social media channels to foster an engaged online community, including managing Facebook fundraisers.
  • Manage deliverables for Corporate Partners and Grants, providing social media performance metrics to relevant teams as needed.
  • Strategize with Marketing and Content teams to generate digital communication plans for various programs, campaigns and audiences
  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics such as audience engagement, reach, and conversions using analytics tools
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform developments
  • Identify social media influencers or collaborations for Feeding Tampa Bay to pursue to reach new audiences
  • Travel up to 30% within the 10 counties served to fulfill responsibilities

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • B.A. degree preferred; or four years’ professional experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in appropriate field
  • Strong understanding of available tools, platforms, and best practices in the social media space.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • High level of proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite; graphic design experience preferred.
  • Strong photography skills are required, including experience capturing events, portraits, and candid moments.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with press, donors, and community partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • May be required to work some weekends and/or adjust work schedule to meet deadlines
  • Exercise good judgment and discretion; strong ethical character capable of handling confidential information
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly within the Tampa area.
  • Internal candidates must be in good standing
