Purpose of Position: 

The Internal Wholesaler/ is responsible, in conjunction with the Director of Investor Relations and future external sales team, for supporting CIRE’s strategic partner and wholesaling team to effectively sell CREIT and other future CIRE offerings. A primary focus includes educating the wholesaler on real estate investments and specifically CIRE products for them to effectively prospect new business, sales, and service on-going relationships with financial advisors. This position will contribute significantly to the NAV growth of CREIT through their proactive approach on a sales desk and supporting the external team.

Requirements


Essential Functions:

  • Develop new and build upon relationships with wholesalers and financial advisors/registered representatives in the RIA & broker-dealer selling syndicate, primarily through outbound and inbound sales calls
  • Serve as a partner to the Director of Investor Relations to grow sales and drive adoption of CIRE’s offerings with wholesalers and financial advisors
  • Play a key role in educating wholesalers, financial advisors/registered representatives regarding CIRE’s distributed offering, ensuring wholesalers can educate financial advisors to make an informed recommendation to their clients
  • Maintain on-going communication with wholesalers to ensure they have current information on CIRE and its offerings. Provide appropriate guidance regarding the CIRE's operating results and investment strategies
  • Maintain weekly activity thresholds for calls & emails as directed by Director of Investor Relations
  • Consistent communication with Director of Investor Relations which may include daily review of sales numbers, sales and education strategies, information updates from calls and meetings
  • Maintain and structure CRM database via HubSpot software to log phone calls, meetings, emails, and notes that will allow effective campaign and segmented communication strategies
  • Create communication strategies with VP of Marketing to utilize CRM and drive sales
  • Become a knowledgeable resource to the broker-dealer network and internal associates on all aspects of the investment industry, competitors (direct and indirect), and products available in the market
  • Research and analyze quarterly/annual reports and other publicly filed information
  • Support Director of Investor Relations with requests including responding to technical products and competitive positioning questions as appropriate
  • Participate in conferences, education forums and potentially client seminars for purposes of educating financial advisors, registered representatives, and/or investors regarding CIRE offerings
  • Ability to stand in for external team to take in-person meetings, conduct webinars, or conferences for opportunities
  • Initiative and ability to create and develop effective processes and strategies for the investor relations team to streamline operations and optimize resources

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of the financial advisor and broker-dealer investment industry, real estate or alternatives preferred
  • Highly coachable and positive attitude

  • Strategic thinker with good anticipation and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel from time to time preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Series 7 & Series 63 licenses not required and will be required to lapse
