Morris Animal Inn at Morristown. is a family-owned and operated luxury pet resort offering dogs & cats the finest in lodging, grooming, training & daycare services. Our Grooming Salon is growing, and we're looking for a Dog Bather to join our team!

No prior professional experience is required but a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is a must! The hourly pay starts at $15.50 per hour. Additional pay considerations for candidates with professional pet care or grooming experience! This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in exploring a career as a grooming professional, as we offer an Education Assistant Program that may cover the cost of obtaining grooming certifications for eligible employees!
What you'll be doing
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs using company-provided professional products and equipment
- Cleaning dogs’ ears, trimming nails, and teeth brushing
- Closely monitoring dogs during the grooming process to ensure safety procedures are being followed
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience for both pets and their owners
- Gathering necessary information from pet owners and updating records
What you'll need to apply
- A natural comfort around dogs and the ability to safely handle breeds of varying sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Desire to work in a cohesive team environment
- Availability to work on weekends and some holidays
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions/labels
