The Job

The Warehouse Lead oversees and coordinates the daily operations within the distribution center. This role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and leads a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.

The Opportunity

  • Supervision: Provide guidance and leadership to Warehouse Associates, assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to procedures. 
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies. 
  • Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order processing. 
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments, ensuring products meet quality standards. 
  • Training: Train new Warehouse Associates on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation. 
  • Problem-Solving: Address issues and challenges that arise during daily operations, working to find effective solutions. 
  • Safety: Enforce safety policies and promote a safe working environment, conducting regular safety checks and reporting any hazards. 
  • Reporting: Assist in generating reports related to warehouse performance and inventory accuracy. 
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to meet warehouse goals and objectives. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

The Must Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus. 
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center. 
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems. 
  • Adaptability, attention to detail, communication, conflict resolution, critical thinking, data analysis, inventory management, multitasking, order processing, problem-solving, product knowledge, research, teamwork, technology use, time management

The base wage for this role ranges from $19.81 to $28.50. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
