We are seeking a Payroll Manager who is ready to lead our payroll operations team. In this position, you will oversee all payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. By collaborating with HR and Finance, you will implement policies that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. As Payroll Manager, you will lead multi-state payroll processing, optimize systems, and provide strategic insights, particularly during mergers and acquisitions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timely Payroll Processing: 100% payroll accuracy for bi-weekly cycles.
- Compliance Readiness: Audit readiness rate at 90% or higher across federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Efficiency Improvements: Enhance payroll processing efficiency by 30% through system optimization and automation.
Hours & Benefits:
This is a full-time, fully benefited position that is eligible to receive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k), PTO, and wellness incentives. Benefits add roughly 20–30% additional income to the pay range.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or related experience
- Extensive knowledge of multi-state payroll functions, tax preparation, and compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity) and advanced Excel skills.
