The Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the country with a nationwide network of more than 1,000,000 Americans. We combine politics with policy, investing heavily in voter education to ensure that pro-life Americans know where their lawmakers stand on protecting the unborn, and in issue advocacy, advancing pro-life laws through direct lobbying and grassroots campaigns.
The Social Media Manager works closely with the Digital & Creative Director to support and promote the efforts of the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America family of organizations. Primary responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing the organization’s social media accounts, building our list of online supporters through organic social media efforts, and producing content to support these goals.
This position is located in the Arlington, VA headquarters. This position reports directly to the Digital and Creative Director.
Essential Functions
- Create and schedule engaging images, graphics, video and copy for SBA social platforms and other related entities
- Monitor and respond to messages and moderate comments on posts
- Track and report results and engagement
- Manage social media calendar for all platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, Tik Tok)
- Advise partner organization social media efforts and strategy
- Manage personal Twitter accounts of company figureheads
- Engage with allies and potential allies’ social media teams to build and maintain relationships
- Manage the Community Notes team
- Supervise and maintain in-house recording studio, as needed
- On-camera recordings, social spokesperson (preferred)
- Other duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience
- Strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position
- Ability to work as part of a team and as a self-starter
- Excellent copy writing and verbal communication skills

- Excel, Word, and WordPress
- Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok)
- Graphic design (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign)
- Video production and editing (social-focused)
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Position Type/Expected Hours
This position is a full-time position. Hours are typically 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
