Job purpose
We are looking for a competitive and experienced Sr. Sales Executive to help us grow our business.
Sales Executive responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, forecasting, negotiating deals, and closing business. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy the challenge of reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and discuss our solutions, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll help us to meet and surpass business objectives and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustained growth.
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business from phone, trade show, email and other communication methods
- Proactively make a high volume of calls/emails to book appointments with prospects
- Deliver product demonstrations, both virtually and onsite for school and school district decision makers (Principals, Superintendents, etc.)
- Represent Edlio at trade shows, which may require travel to various areas of the country
- Generate quotes and proposals and maintain follow up communication to close sales
- Meet monthly and quarterly new sales goals
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly goals - strong work ethic and tenacity are key
- Ability to negotiate and sell to every decision-making level
- Generate opportunity-specific value propositions for desired business outcomes
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years experience in a sales or sales related role
- Must have experience in the SaaS space (EdTech experience preferred)
- Proficiency in English
- Understanding of sales strategies and negotiating techniques
- Have a desire to learn and a passion for sales
- Aptitude in delivering effective presentations
- Bachelor’s degree
- Salesforce experience preferred
