Position: Campus Pastor

Job Status: Full time
Objective: To lead the launch and growth of a new Bayside Church location, fostering a unified staff and congregation while upholding Bayside's mission, values, and culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
Campus Launch:
- Implement Bayside’s four-step launch strategy:
- Recruit, develop, and care for a core group.
- Form teams for key ministries: kids, students, small groups, setup/cleanup, and weekend services.
- Organize core group events leading to preview services that drive measurable, sustained growth.
- Establish weekly gatherings, progressing towards full-fledged services.
- Manage launch funds while casting vision to develop a tithing base that supports the campus's financial health.
Campus Leadership:
- Champion the ministry, leadership, and mission of Bayside Church.
- Lead, inspire, and empower staff and congregants to live out their gifts and calling for kingdom impact.
- Oversee weekend services, maintaining quality across first impressions, children's ministry, youth programs, and both in-person and online experiences.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere with inspiring worship and engaging biblical teaching.
- Ensure alignment of staffing, facilities, and programs to support pastoral care and discipleship through small groups and mid-week ministries.
- Foster relationships within the community and promote Bayside's outreach locally and globally.
Organizational Leadership:
- Preach twice a month at your campus and once a month at another Bayside location, serving the broader organization.
- Participate in weekly Senior Campus Pastor meetings, contributing to organizational vision and direction.
- Attend and occasionally lead Staff Chapel meetings.

- Emotional Intelligence: Capable of navigating tough conversations with strength and grace.
Mission-Critical Responsibilities:
- Actively support and embody the mission, vision, and core values of Bayside Church.
- Maintain open and frequent communication with supervisors, staff, and team members.
- Uphold the Bayside Core Values, Staff Culture & Values, Vision Statement and Points of Accountability.
Time Commitment:
This full-time, ministerial exempt position requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
