First 90 Days
The initial 90 days will focus on learning Bayside’s DNA and developing ministry skills. Regular monthly check-ins will provide opportunities for discussion and growth.
Responsibilities during this period:
- Attend weekly Campus Pastor meetings and sermon preparation meetings.
- Preach at least once per month at a Bayside campus.
- Speak to various groups across Bayside campuses as requested.
- Meet twice weekly with a Senior Campus Pastor or department leader to deepen understanding of Bayside’s culture.
- Perform other pastoral duties as assigned.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
Campus Leadership
- Serve as the primary pastor for the assigned campus, ensuring a welcoming and connected community experience.
- Oversee and lead weekend services, maintaining Bayside’s quality standards in all aspects, including initial impressions, worship, children’s and youth ministries, and facilities/technology.
- Speak twice monthly at your campus and occasionally at other Bayside campuses.
- Provide leadership for volunteer and paid staff, fostering development and engagement.
Pastoral Duties
- Facilitate pastoral care and discipleship through small groups and midweek ministries.
- Ensure opportunities for connection and community-building during weekend services.
- Support the spiritual growth of the congregation by delivering consistent and impactful messages.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Oversee the campus budget, ensuring alignment with goals and resources.
- Collaborate with the communications team on marketing strategies to grow campus engagement.
- Participate in weekly staff and message preparation meetings.
- Monitor and achieve campus growth and engagement goals.

Skills and Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure.
- Proven experience in recruiting, supervising, and mentoring staff.
- Previous experience in a lead ministry role with public speaking responsibilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Time Commitment:
- This full-time, ministerial exempt position requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
