Jet Health, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional (Staff Accountant) looking to grow their career within the healthcare industry in our Fort Worth, TX corporate office. The Staff Accountant will assist in tracking the company’s financial performance by preparing timely and accurate financial statements and ad hoc reports. Working closely with the Controller, this role contributes to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting, budgeting, financial modeling, and annual audits. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who applies GAAP principles to complex transactions and seeks to understand and improve business operations.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting, financial models, and audits.
- Create and analyze financial data using advanced Microsoft Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, etc.).
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (required).
- 0-2 years of General Ledger accounting experience.
- Previous healthcare experience (a plus but not required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
