We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of a significant piece of our overall business for the installation technicians. Your responsibilities will include training, quality performance, productivity and daily management including tracking attendance and tardiness and addressing any disciplinary issues.

The Role
- Assist with technical requests, providing troubleshooting support and coordinating with
- technicians to resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate with Multiple System Operators (MSOs) to address needs, ensure seamless service
- integration, and support operational goals
- Monitor billing processes for quality control, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Oversee adherence to company policies, industry regulations, safety and quality standards
- Supervise and support team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the “Company Values”
- Review and analyze daily field reports to track operational performance, identify trends, and
- address any issues
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure team and operational performance
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and
- effectiveness
- Ensure company tracking methods and systems are implemented to measure productivity levels, coordinate with fleet and tool management
- Other job duties assigned by management
- 2-3 years as a Broadband Technician or equivalent work experience required
- Prior management experience preferred
- Must demonstrate competency of reading and written communications skills sufficient to work safely with equipment and process requirements
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality control and compliance
- Proficiency in operational systems such as VxField or similar platforms
- Experience with industry relevant software and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (equipment management, cost control, scheduling, and safety)
- Basic computer skills with experience using MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Requires deep knowledge of construction practices
- Machine and equipment operation with safety protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working indoors in confined spaces, poorly ventilated areas such as attics during extreme heat while being exposed to dust, dirt, noise, insects and cleaning solutions
- Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night
- Comfortable and able to perform work near power lines and electricity
- Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of the equipment
- Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices
- Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder, (approximately 28 ft. high and 75 pounds)
- Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires
- Ability to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twisting
- Ability to perform job from high places (i.e., poles and roofs in addition to an extension ladder)
- Ability to use hand tools including electric drills, hammers, wrenches, and screwdrivers
- Ability to safely walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment including ladders and fully loaded tool belts
- Ability to work while standing 50 to 70% of the time
- Ability to work with small components and wire to make cable connections
- Valid driver’s license
- Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
