Description
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The right candidate will play a key role in supporting our customers, growing sales, and helping drive the success of the branch through strong product knowledge and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
- Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers on products, features, benefits, and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and promotional items.
- Accurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, returns, and invoicing.
- Work closely with outside sales representatives and branch teammates to support customer needs and grow accounts.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
- Locate, source, and obtain parts for customers, including processing buyouts for non-stocked items.
- Coordinate parts orders and communicate with warehouse, delivery, and management teams to ensure timely service.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to strengthen relationships and resolve concerns quickly.
- Assist walk-in customers with order questions, quotes, and product recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter and parts area.
- Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Previous parts counter, automotive aftermarket, heavy-duty parts, or related sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work cooperatively with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams.
- Ability to provide accurate quotes, process orders, and manage customer requests efficiently.
- Manufacturer or industry training is a plus.
- Some travel may be required.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer work.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Fast-paced environment with regular interaction with customers, drivers, warehouse staff, and vendors.
