St. Mary's Catholic School in Taylor is seeking talented Substitute Teachers to serve in classrooms, PK3-12th grades!

Our school is seeking reliable and responsible substitute teachers to join our team!  

As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for following teacher lesson plans and ensuring that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities. 

Responsibilities:

- Follow teacher lesson plans and ensure that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities

- Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment, inspiring learning and joy

- Manage classroom behavior and discipline in accordance with school policies

- Communicate with school staff and parents as needed

- Complete required paperwork and reports, if needed, in a timely manner

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in education or related field, preferred, but minimum high school degree

- Teaching certification or substitute teaching certification, preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different teaching styles

- Flexibility and willingness to work in different classrooms and grade levels

- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment...and have FUN learning with your students!
