  Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (minimum of 2 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technician/mechanic program or apprenticeship required.
• ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within a specified period.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and more.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about the vehicle’s condition and repair needs.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians, if applicable.
